Slender and tough, this is a technical edition of the World Shaula for light lure use. This is a World Shaula series that corresponds to lure targets around the world. The Technical Edition, suitable for 2-4lb lines and 0.6-6g light lures, is the slimmest in the World Shaura series.
With the adoption of the Spiral X Core technology, it is slender but powerful in fights. Equipped with a full carbon monocoque grip that improves sensitivity, you can sense underwater activities with higher accuracy and clarity through the vibrations transmitted through throughout the whole rod. Including Spiral X Core is Shimano's newest and most advanced blank construction technology.
By integrating Spiral X carbon tape construction with Toray Nanoalloy® technology, Spiral X Core constructed blanks benefit from up to 10% more torsional rigidity and up to 15% more compressional rigidity than rods built with Spiral X. Shimano is unique to the market by applying by high-strength carbon tape with this unique and patented Spiral X construction.
The Full Carbon Monocoque Grip is the evolution of the Carbon Monocoque Grip. The complete grip is made of a hollow carbon construction, eliminating the use of EVA. This results in a very lightweight construction which is also more sensitive. Compared to the normal Carbon Monocoque Grip the sensitivity has increased with 128%.
