Poppers usually work better in unsettled conditions with a bit of surface movement. On glassy days you may have to move over to stick baits as a better option.

"Produces a fair sized ‘bloop’ when worked. You’re going to be upgrading the split rings & hooks but the body works fine. There’s also a ball bearing in a chamber that produces a rattle. If you fish around reefs you’ll be used to losing lures- these don’t break the bank if you lose one."
